(Senior) Structural Engineer

They are specialised in design, transportation, installation and removal of all types of fixed and floating offshore structures in shallow and deep water.

The technology department of this company is responsible for the technical preparation necessary for fixed/floating platform installation and removal, pipeline and sub sea installation projects. Together with clients, their engineers work in dedicated mult
discipline project teams in order to provide constructive and workable solutions for technically challenging projects.

Platform decommissioning & removals department is responsible for the preparation of lift procedures and design of rigging, equipment and secondary steel. In order to support their challenging projects they are looking for a (Senior) Structural Engineer.

Tasks

• Concept and/or functional design of structures
• Steer (concept) design project teams with a focus on structural design aspects
• Perform detailed design scopes
• Responsible for performing structural design/analysis according to correct methods, procedures and standards
• Solve and/or support the technical challenges in structural engineering

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc degree in Civil, Maritime, Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent
• Relevant experience in the detailed and concept design of offshore structures
• Application know-how of structural design/analysis packages such as SACS
• Good command of the English and Dutch languages both verbally and in writing
• Prepared to work temporarily offshore on our vessels or overseas
• In possession of a permit to work in The Netherlands
