Function description

T.O.S. is looking for a Dredging Instructor for a Cutter Suction Dredger operating outside of Havana.

Job description

Tasks

  • Instruct the current dredge operators both in the practical and theoretic good practice of operating the cutter suction dredge
  • Advise on the layout of the discharge pipeline
  • Instruct in the operation of dredging with three pumps in series
  • Advise on the most suitable way in dredging various materials
  • Advise on the necessary dredge instrumentation requirements and benefits
  • Operate the dredge as an instructor

Qualifications

  • Experience as operator onboard cutter suction dredgers
  • Good knowledge of the English language
